Around 445 joint officers of Satpol PP, water resources taskforces, cleaning unit agency (UPK), public facility maintenance agency (PPSU), Bina Marga taskforces are sent to clean up the Buaran riverbank, Duren Sawit, East Jakarta.

There are also forestry taskforces, transportation executing units, RT/RW, public figures, sub-district leaders forum (LMK), and early awareness society forum (FKDM).

"Waste clean up is carried out up to two kilometers," said Duren Sawit Sub-district Head, Musa Syafrudin, Saturday (4/6).

Duren Sawit Sub-district Satpol PP Head, Andik Sukaryanto added that three big-sized trucks and four pick-up truck are also sent to transport the waste.

"We clean up waste and mud from the riverbank, as well as grass and weeds using a scissors machine," he stated.
